Monitoring EasyDNS
Monitoring your EasyDNS records automatically is made easy with ZoneWatcher. After you've added your account credentials, we will automatically import all of your domains and begin monitoring them for changes.
Generating your EasyDNS API Credentials
To get started adding your EasyDNS account, you'll first want to retrieve your API credentials from the Security section of your EasyDNS control panel. You will need both an API Token and API Key to authenticate with the EasyDNS API.
You can find the full API documentation on EasyDNS's website here.
API Access Note
You may need to submit an API access request form to EasyDNS to enable API access for your account. API credentials can be found in the Security section of your control panel once approved.
Creating your EasyDNS Provider
Once you've retrieved your API credentials, you can create your new EasyDNS provider on ZoneWatcher by giving it a descriptive name and entering both your API Key and API Token in the appropriate fields.
Credential Fields
Username: Enter your EasyDNS username
API Token: Enter your EasyDNS API Key from the Security section
Rate Limiting
Please note that EasyDNS has rate limits on their API. By default, you are limited to 500 requests per day with no more than one request per second. If you need higher limits, you can contact EasyDNS support to have your limits increased.
What's Next?
After creating your EasyDNS provider, ZoneWatcher will automatically begin importing your domains and DNS records. You'll receive notifications whenever changes are detected in your DNS configuration.
