Monitoring eNom DNS

Monitoring your eNom DNS records automatically is made easy with ZoneWatcher. After you've added your account credentials, we will automatically import all of your domains and begin monitoring them for changes.

Getting your eNom API Credentials

To get started adding your eNom account, you'll need to retrieve your API credentials from your eNom reseller account. You'll need both your Account ID (username) and API Token (password) to connect ZoneWatcher to your eNom account.

Your eNom Account ID is your reseller username, and your API Token is your account password. These credentials are used to authenticate API requests to eNom's reseller interface.

Whitelisting ZoneWatcher's IP Addresses

eNom requires that you whitelist IP addresses that will be accessing their API. You'll need to add ZoneWatcher's IP addresses to your eNom account's API whitelist:

  • 178.156.163.167/32
  • 2a01:4ff:f0:4794::/64
  • 5.161.228.189/32
  • 2a01:4ff:f0:3578::/64
  • 178.156.172.40/32
  • 2a01:4ff:f0:e4f0::/64
  • 178.156.157.59/32
  • 2a01:4ff:f0:9dec::/64
  • 178.156.141.243/32
  • 2a01:4ff:f0:a3af::/64

Contact eNom support or access your reseller dashboard to add these IP addresses to your API whitelist. This is a security feature to ensure only authorized servers can access your account via the API.

Creating your eNom Provider

Once you've obtained your API credentials and whitelisted ZoneWatcher's IP addresses, you can create your new eNom provider on ZoneWatcher by giving it a descriptive name and entering your Account ID (username) and API Token.

Monitoring Your Zones

After you've created your eNom provider, we will sync all the zones associated with your account and their associated DNS records. You'll be able to view them from either the Provider's page or the Zone Dashboard.
