January 2026: Provider Integrations and New Record Types
January was big for ZoneWatcher provider coverage. We launched support for multiple DNS providers and expanded the record types you can monitor. Here's what shipped.
New DNS Provider Support
eNom (January 11) - Added monitoring for zones hosted on eNom. Full change tracking and history available for your eNom-managed domains.
Hostinger (January 30) - Hostinger users can now connect their domains for comprehensive DNS monitoring. All zones show up alongside your other providers in a single dashboard.
Gandi LiveDNS (January 30) - Gandi LiveDNS users get full integration. Monitor your Gandi-hosted DNS in ZoneWatcher with the same features you get from other providers.
OVH Cloud (January 31) - OVH customers can now add their zones to ZoneWatcher. Monitor DNS changes across your OVH infrastructure.
Huawei Cloud (February 1) - Huawei Cloud DNS support is now live. Connect your Huawei-hosted zones for centralized monitoring.
Expanded Record Type Support
We also launched support for additional DNS record types that teams rely on but we weren't monitoring yet.
CERT records - X.509 certificate records are now supported.
HTTPS records - HTTPS records used for service discovery are monitored.
SVCB records - Service Binding records are now trackable.
LOC records - Geographic location records are available.
TLSA records - DANE (DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities) records are supported.
These additions mean teams running advanced DNS configurations can now get complete visibility. No matter what record types your infrastructure relies on, ZoneWatcher tracks them.
Looking Forward
Provider coverage and record type support will continue to expand. If you have a provider or record type you need monitored, let us know. We're building this based on real infrastructure needs.
