Monitoring NameSilo DNS
Monitoring your NameSilo DNS records automatically is made easy with ZoneWatcher. After you've added your account credentials, we will automatically import all of your domains and begin monitoring them for changes.
Creating your NameSilo Provider
Create your new NameSilo provider on ZoneWatcher by giving it a descriptive name, your username and an API token generated from the API Tokens page.
For monitoring-only use, leave the "Read only" checkbox checked when generating the API key. ZoneWatcher will be able to list zones and records but cannot modify anything.
If you plan to use ZoneWatcher's Change Management or rollback features, generate the API key with the "Read only" checkbox unchecked instead. Those features write back to NameSilo on your behalf to apply approved changesets and revert unauthorized changes via the dnsAddRecord, dnsUpdateRecord, and dnsDeleteRecord API endpoints.
Monitoring Your Zones
After you've created your NameSilo provider, we will sync all the zones associated with your account and their associated DNS records. You'll be able to view them from either the Provider's page or the Zone Dashboard.
